I have built a set of timelines for various aspects of our history in order to put in front of people, in a ‘Quick Look’ way to appreciate the interconnectedness of all that has gone on before us so that we can realize how the history that we are living through – right now – can be examined with an objective attitude.
Our American history is an extension, and development, of British history. That’s just how it is. Our current endless culture diatribe is reduced to plain good sense size when compared with all that has gone before. Today’s CRISIS that gets screeching attention in the news doesn’t seem so much like end of the world drama when you glance over 2,000 years of history.
Our Christian heritage , the Fact of the Nazarene’s presence in the world, establishes the ROCK , the foundation on which our nation, our society, our ‘culture’ are constructed. An America without Christian truth is not America – it will become a garbage land.
Our Western Civilization heritage provides us with the daily living reality of sanity, intelligence, personal excellence, literature, science, music, fine arts, and our DNA expectation of achievement and…Excellence !
The history of medicine is living proof that We the Homo sapiens are NOT animals. The creatures – who practice laser surgery, brain surgery and all the ridiculously precise advances in medicine that WE have accomplished over the past hundreds of years, and especially the past century – are in a different order of being from animals. The sooner and more certainly people figure that out , the better we will be able to expect the BEST from each and all of us.
America is a huge success. Those people around the world who are bothered by that can take a flying leap. THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN OUR COUNTRY – AND ARE BOTHERED BY THAT – can find a different planet to live on. Bye
Our American history is a difficult saga – first the hopeful arrival in a ‘new’ world with all the possibilities for building a Home of Goodness and Accomplishment. Then steered off course by a bunch of ‘revolutionaries’ or more accurately, low-class self dealers who were not up to understanding the Great Achievement of establishing Rule of Law, Christianity, and Prosperity that was bound to happen in the central part of North America. We are stuck with a cut down version of a wonderful nation of Excellence. Our challenge as Conservatives is to STEER Our Country to the future of Great Goodness that was our original intention.
Our America home life experience is – more of the same – same mom and dad and the kids and the house and the daily work routine, neighbors, community , that has gone on for thousands of years. Conservatives have ‘been there done that’ for a long, long time and we will be doing that for many more centuries. Our Conservative way is not ‘old fashioned’ it is Reality fashioned. We who intend to be Right – are Right about it- really!
