Every Year ?

Another happy reminder from D.C. to We the People. We are paying out, this year, 807 BILLION dollars in interest on our 37 TRILLION dollar national debt. And the usual commentary starts in with noise about ” this is unsustainable” and  “we need to get serious about the debt problem ” and  “this is the canary in the coal mine” and  “Congress has to take action to cut spending “. Yeah right. We have seen this bad TV show before and we will see it again. The script is worn out and unamusing. As with  the current D.C. vaudeville show  ‘ Our Busted Budget – Government Shutdown – D.C. Fiasco Again! ‘  people make lots of noise and fail to ask the questions that should be asked to get a Correct Answer.

With our Annual Budget bad joke no one ever wants to ask Question Number One – Why can’t those dopes in Congress get ALL EXCITED about accomplishing a budget in January, February, March, April, May, and June when they have all the time and resources they need to actually do WHAT THEY GET PAID TO DO – pass a sane financially responsible budget? Why is it that they just can’t do that? WHY?  Question Number Two is – Why do the people of this country just shuffle along with this crap show year after year after year? WHY? What is the matter with them?

For the National Debt Insanity the first Question is – How is it possible that intelligent human beings, who live in America, somehow resist or dodge or ignore the obvious REAL DANGER that criminal deficit spending, money printing and government ‘help’ will gift us ?  And the second Question – geepers creepers, I wonder what we could BUY with that 807 Billion bucks? How is it possible that people in this country apparently don’t think about that? And how is it possible that it IS NEVER MENTIONED IN ANY PUBLIC COMMENTARY ?  We the people have a PROBLEM. We demonstrate a puzzling and indefensible shallow attitude, lack of serious resolve in facing up to and dealing with the financial facts of life that will NECESSARILY happen to us.

The Ratmob in D.C. has gotten us trained and accustomed to the government ‘help’ routine with relentless propaganda about programs for _ _ _ _ fill in the blank – that group of whatever people who have ‘legitimate’ claims on taxpayers’ money. The programs add up and UP all the way to 807. When we notice that the payment on interest for the National Debt is larger than the entire Defense Department budget that finally sets off some alarm in We the Chumps that shows that they are- all of a sudden – paying attention. All of a sudden, right before you are about to drive off a cliff, is not an effective way to practice citizenship responsibility. We need to some re-training of our own. For instance, replacing the Republicrat Party with a National Conservative Party. When we do that we will be able to deliver a message to America – this message – We have a serious problem in Our Country, it is a People Problem.

One of our Conservative Principles is admitting that we all have vast, overwhelming mental capacity to understand and create. Americans have no excuse for their feckless, lackadaisical behavior when it comes to expecting the BEST from those who volunteer to ‘govern’ us. There are many problem situations right now in America and we watch the news fly by about one or another problem daily. But the Important Fact of citizen life that is the source of all our problems is our confounded ‘whatever’ attitude about taking responsibility for supervising our ‘volunteer governors’. People think that we can ‘get away with’ deficit spending forever. I must ask  ” Why are we  ‘getting away with’ anything?” We need discipline in the Federal government and in the State governments. We need a political party that can EXPLAIN to We the Voters that government is NOT a Candy Store. Our Representatives and Senators are not elected and employed to get in on the cash grab and bring goodies back to the folks at home. Their First Responsibility is to spend what we can afford and then STOP SPENDING. We the People in all of the States need to relax – the spending all evens out over the long haul. And we need to GROW UP and understand that a disciplined, steady approach to funding what we NEED is the BEST way to build and maintain a strong economy and a strong nation.

Rather than going along as a bunch of deficit loving chumps we can do Better. We can be the Champs – the citizen stewards of the world’s BEST economy. There is a future of Great Commercial Goodness ahead for Our Country and a wide open highway to get there. First, we hitch up our britches and get ourselves a National Conservative Party.
