To get at the present state of law in America three main factors should be examined. First, our heritage of rule of law from Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales and also Ireland). Our system of law is an extension and development of British law. That law developed over many centuries from long before the days of the Roman incursion through the time of Alfred the Great and on to the Norman interference, the Great Charter, the Roses, the Tudors, the Civil War and Commonwealth, the Glorious Revolution and bill of rights. When the first colonists came over to America they brought an earned heritage through many years of struggle and hard won agreements to respect the rule of law. That Heritage grew up AMONG THE PEOPLE day by day, village by village and shire by shire. It was not foisted on them from overlords who controlled them as pawns.

One original truth to understand is that Law is about people, one person, another person and another and another. Law is the orderly written explanation of what each of us KNOWS personally about right, wrong and the difference between them. Law IS NOT a pile of tomes, official costumes, court room furniture, titles, officers, etc. Law is not DONE TO people, it is what people agree to have applied to them through strict procedures. We all are taught the truth that it is absolutely necessary that the law is applied evenly, regularly for everyone – no exceptions, no ‘special’ cases, no court officers playing favorites. Law that is not regular is not law.

It has become common practice in public commentary involving legal disputes to natter on about this King and that Parliament, or this Congress and that President, or this event and that scalawag. Always and ever whatever goes on in LAW is about people, hometown folks, countrymen (and women) and people in all kinds of situations. From long ago, through many centuries our heritage of law was built up by – the people – who lived all those years and made respect for the rule of law a reality. It is called ‘Common Law’ for that reason. When the earliest colonists came over they brought with them a respect for law attitude and no thought at all about ‘throwing off’ that heritage. The ‘crash and burn’ mess which we call the Revolutionary War should never have happened. It is a sad example of people letting their own history – GET AWAY FROM THEM. It has set us up for all kinds of mischief and misunderstanding about how law should be carried out in the U.S.A.  (John Marshall- exhibit A). We live with the awkward jointure of a fractured heritage that was reset with a Constitutional splint. From the Constitution onward Our Country has gone on something of a roller coaster ride of judicial ‘interpretation’ (not found in that Constitution) of the law which results in some odd situations, to put it nicely. Maybe the ‘fracture’ needs to be reset.

Second, we are crippled with an obsession about a ‘Free Country’ and ‘freedom’ as some sort of idol to be worshipped. This notion or attitude also comes from those past centuries in the British Isles and the – not always happy – difference between those living ‘up country’ as freemen (and women) and those established down river as self- appointed Rulers in London. In America the shallow fascination with ‘freedom’ leads to a limited presence of consideration for personal excellence, righteousness, a life well lived, or contribution to a ‘more perfect’ citizenry. We are told to not bother with that ‘old-fashioned’ character stuff – because digital y’know. This pernicious failure to expect each person to be a Champion of Goodness twists and warps everything that happens with the Law in Our Country. The social gears keep grinding, decade after decade, making awful noises in a succession of public disagreements while too many Citizens just kowtow to the poison agents who dislike America, have zero respect for America or just plain hate AMERICA the Good, the Great, the Best. Conservatives must now fight in courts everywhere, every day to get malicious judges to admit, in law,  that decent, honorable and SANE behavior is ALLOWED in this country. Americans need to learn carefully that you can have FREEDOM at the top or freedom at the bottom and there is a difference – yes indeed a great difference.

Third, through the last 150 years the ‘Western world’ has been on a technological development tear that has sent us farther and farther into a life situation that is very different from the more agrarian pace and style of previous centuries. While this has made us rich and famous it has also acted like a ‘hothouse’ causing enormous growth in a myriad of vile and craven character traits and behaviors. The microwave broadcast media and entertainment industry have been ‘overtalking’ our decent honorable society with relentless propaganda for inferior behavior. We are letting ourselves be played for suckers by the push button, point and click, hyper paced culture that takes our attention away from ‘old-fashioned verities’ that are as true and necessary as ever. But one wrong step leads to another and our society is steadily being steered off the main highway of civilized development and down a pothole detour road to personal failure, ignorance, vicious behavior and – freedom at the bottom!

While many people in our society are careening along with increasingly erratic, destructive attitudes we are experiencing a steady distancing from normal intelligent beneficial behaviors which are defamed as offensive or abusive – by those people who are experts in offensive and abusive. This topsy-turvy situation has led to all kinds of bizarre, freak show episodes all around the country which are forcing people to wake up and start paying attention to Right and Wrong. Conservative Principle # 9 – Reality Always Wins. We are in a national, societal contest between an honor, duty, sanity and country group and a witless, deceitful, abusive, vicious hate America group. This contest has been going on since the late nineteenth – early twentieth century period. The ‘liberal’ poison agents have been relentlessly pushing us to a Break Point where the abuses and attacks against our just folks American society have gotten to the point of undisguised hostility and actual violent incidents directed at citizens and institutions. One rotten past time of this mob is to use our legal system to twist and damage our nation with malicious lawfare – while claiming the protection of LAW from that very society. I wonder how long it will go on before the Break Point happens. I wonder if Conservatives are getting prepared to step forward and be Champions for their Heritage.

In 2025 our Conservative duty to contribute to the building of an American Heritage must involve Action. Action to expose and broadcast loudly everywhere the abuses, criminal activities and propaganda poison of the destroy America group. (There are many people and organizations that have already taken up the fight – they will be highlighted in other parts of this website.) Action to step forward to citizenship responsibility in electing REAL Conservatives to town boards, school boards, state legislatures and Congress, along with mayors, Governors and Presidents. Action to establish a nationwide network of Independent schools – especially Christian schools [as John Adams said, “this Constitution was made for a religious (Christian) nation”. No kidding Johny. Action to oppose the various assassin gangs – antifa, BLM, SPLC, ACLU, Planned Parenthood, etc., etc., etc. that are blatantly working to KILL America.

NO LAW    NO JUSTICE

Conservatives are people who SUCCEED – at life, at learning, at work, at professions, at home, in church, in neighborhoods, in towns and as a nation. We can take what this world and this reality dish out – and make GOOD happen. This personal excellence brings with it an acquired mild manner which gets us into trouble – the trouble of ALLOWING problem people to have free range to aim poisonous, monstrous criminal schemes at We the People. Conservatives must always be aware and ALERT to our duty to DEFEAT and obliterate, those people who enjoy prosperity and the ‘freedom’ that rule of law makes safe only to despise that prosperity, freedom and rule of law. If we fail to safeguard what we have been given by our forefathers and mothers – then SHAME ON US for letting America be ruined and ‘transformed’ to NOTHING.

We get to write this chapter of our American Heritage. I am ready to hitch up my britches and work for, vote for and fight for that heritage of Goodness and Decency, Understanding and Accomplishment in a nation of people – who respect the Laws that they write and are able to live with OUR OWN RULE OF LAW.
