History Changing Right Before Our Eyes

As watching the skyrocketing National Debt has become something of a spectator sport in Our Country the annual budget of the Department of Defense always gets a huge amount of attention – for huge good reason. Trillions has become a household word which, to me, should be alarming to all… shrinking-paycheck citizens. The price tags on some of our astonishing high-tech weapons are ‘above my pay grade’ regular citizen level of competence.
I have always just assumed that ‘they’, the military brass and weapons contractors, know what they are doing – and you know what they say about assume. But Trump came along and now DOGE has arrived and the story (current history) has changed – hugely. Arithmetic revelations about the crass villainy of our Glorious Federal Bureaucrat mob have sharpened the eyes and attitudes of LOTS of citizen taxpayers. The gross corruption of ‘a little power’  is one more factor pushing Our Country to a Break Point. Meanwhile with the war in Ukraine being dragged along – thanks to people who are afraid of Vladimir Putin ( a two bit nobody turned into two bit world conqueror ) and his nuclear threats, the people of Ukraine have decided to just completely change the history of warfare. It is now an everyday spectacle to watch video of a 1,000 dollar drone zoom in on a multi-million dollar Russian tank ( or warship, or industrial complex) and blow it to pieces. ‘Turret toss’ has become a new term that Willie and Joe from W. W. 2  would find amazing.
The raw numbers from the Ukraine conflict pulled the curtain back on a STARK REALITY that ‘threatens’ to overthrow basic modern military strategy. While a ridiculous, self-important gangster in the Kremlin makes W.W. 3 noises his Almighty Russian Military is being turned into trash with the flick of a switch. For the American military industrial complex the hand writing is on the wall. It now ‘seems obvious’ that ever more sophisticated technology will race ahead of older technology, and military doctrine, and render them obsolete, in the worst – blown up – way. The game board has been flipped in the air and the pieces have not yet been brought into any managed sort of order. Warfare jujitsu is now a ‘thing’.

Some questions need to be addressed : How do we justify spending  millions, billions and now trillions on military hardware if a thousand dollar toy can destroy that snazzy hardware easily?
Where is the coherent ‘doctrine’ of understanding, developing and deploying – and MASTERING rapidly changing technology?
What happens to those billion-dollar airplanes, multi-billion dollar aircraft carriers and all the other super duper gadgets that our top brass absolutely insist are necessary for a lethal military force?
The high-tech genie is out of the bottle and bringing it under human control is now Job 1 for everyone involved with the DoD – in any way.
What is the plan for bringing ALL of the production of ALL necessary tech components back to American companies so that we have ZERO dependance on any foreign government and their national interests and schemes?
The ‘boots on the ground’ reality of high-tech disruption of out-dated military machinery and strategy puts We the Taxpayers on the spot for demanding CORRECT answers ASAP as we see history streaking past us in a suddenly dangerous 21st century.
Maybe we should have snapped out of it when a Billion Dollar B2 bomber was introduced. The high-tech bang for the Billion bucks is NOW a target for   We the just trying to get by People.

Hmm, I wonder what kind of ‘drone’ we could use to go after those great big budget numbers?  Maybe the DOGE boys can get working on that federal budget BOOM!
