Or at least as close to free as possible.

Among the never-ending ‘crises’ that have been foisted on us decade after decade the availability of energy resources and employment for industrial and residential power has provided Our Country with a spectacle of blatant, hostile anti-American obstruction by socialists to ‘save the environment’. For forty years we have been brow-beaten and harangued with propaganda claiming that environmental catastrophes will crash down us – seventeen hours, days, weeks, months or years from now, because we won’t stop using oil, natural gas and coal to heat our homes, drive our cars and run our factories.

While the assault on common sense use of oil, natural gas and coal has been going on we have been treated to a tiresome diatribe about the wonders of solar and wind power schemes. We have been fitted with a straight jacket of regulations that has crippled our ability to achieve a productive, competitive and growing economy. People have become resigned to high prices for fossil fuels and other sources of energy – money that could have been spent on things we really need and want.

And the glorious Republican Party has been where? while the ‘climate change’ anti fossil fuel mob has been twisting reality. During the past thirty years there have been times when the Republicans controlled BOTH Houses of Congress and the Presidency. The grand total of everything they have accomplished is – bizarre solar power projects, bird killing windmills, higher prices for EVERYTHING energy, a weakened international position and intractable problems with the operation and disposal of the machinery that will SAVE us from – obliteration any day now. Might we get ourselves a real National Conservative Party?

As we are being steadily dragged down to failure by relentless hostile abuse of our society an interesting event has played out. The arrival of ‘hydrofracking’ that  method to extract natural gas from shale became a  – Big Deal – for a short time. We suddenly had the upper hand on our own energy supply situation with TOO MUCH natural gas, which set us up for energy independence. We could actually assess various OPTIONS for supplying the resources we need. We were looking at success! A new boost to the economy, more jobs, lower prices, a reduction in the power of the OPEC gang and a big improvement in our national security capability. It was just too much. Too much success. Too much prosperity. Too much Good Old U.S.A.

The people who have a personal problem with those three letters U, S and A got busy and started working on taking America down. They have waged a war against fossil fuels, nuclear power and hydro power. Apparently we will all be going back, back to the caves to chill out in retro style. They have put all kinds of restrictions on production of fossil fuels to try to make it impossible to stay in business. At the same time they have larded solar and wind projects with enormous federal (taxpayer) subsidies. Even with all the financial aid wind and solar have gotten they can’t escape Reality. Solar power is a ridiculous fantasy and windmills are a shameful boondoggle. They will never supply the power our 21^st century society needs. In spite of all the ‘help’ solar and wind power businesses get from the government they will never make a big difference in how we power our society. The ‘climate change’ racket is a billion dollars a year con game that lets some ‘inside guys’ get rich while doing precious little to improve our energy situation.

Non Americans have stalled or blocked offshore drilling, drilling in Alaska, pipelines anywhere, nuclear power plants all over the country, hydro power dams wherever and killed off many of our coal fired power plants. At the same time the D.C. ratmob has metastasized into a nationwide life-control monstrosity that weaponizes legislation, federal and state bureaucracies and the judicial system to get ‘compliance’ from the ‘free and the brave’. But they are WRONG. We have HUGE energy resources. We are rich in energy resources. We can enjoy prosperity for everyone. Our American potential for success and prosperity belongs to everyone. All the possibilities we have for happy lives should be realized with the lowest cost energy we can produce. I see this as a moral imperative. It reduces the ‘climate change’ extinction event to a little bad joke – a little bad joke that has made certain people very wealthy thank you.

It amazes me that people vote for Representatives, Senators and Presidents and don’t put this imperative of cheap energy at the top of the list of important reasons to vote for CHAMPIONS, for Excellent America. It is frustrating as a citizen voter to try to figure out why so many voters cannot understand the crucial importance of energy independence and domination. The LONG list of benefits for EVERY person in this country should obviously motivate Conservatives, Republicans and Independents to support development of ALL energy resources. The LONG list of problems that result from a policy of energy limitations should obviously motivate Democrats, liberals etc. to stop obstructing energy development and production. The more options we have the better off we will be. At some point partisan mania must give way to Reality. Right? Maybe a place to find some energy CHAMPIONS to vote for would be an Excellent America Party.
