What will  the Private schooling landscape look like after an Independent School Law is signed into law by President Trump? We have been living – since forever – with our disgraceful two-faced American education ‘doctrine’ of enforced public/private school dichotomy. That contrived hopeless monster is just another glaring example of the deceitful, malicious attitude of the ‘liberty and justice for all’ citizens and patriots who have an easy manner when it comes to completely relegating their ‘idea of freedom’ to a tired, bad joke nuisance.

When  We the Taxpaying People  find ourselves in a BETTER America where parents have the CIVIL RIGHT to send their children and their money to any schools they want, exercising and fulfilling their responsibility to provide competent and thorough education for their children – and NOT PAYING public school tax – the National Education Landscape will be an eye opening adventure land for those educators – parents, teachers, scholars and administrators –  who will take the opportunity to EXCEL at educating children. The possibilities, and combinations of operating methods will set up a situation where practice and result can be assessed, compared and criticized which will yield the benefits that competition gives to people. Improvements will flourish and interact to advance further success. Detrimental behavior will be put in a national spotlight for all to see, and avoid.

The crying towel chorus of public school boosters and apologists will be SILENCED when the FACTS roll in – facts about the superiority of most of the Independent arrangements, facts about the low quality of public schools and facts about the OBVIOUS TRUTH that public school parents and other true believers are NOT GETTING ROBBED by private schools stealing their government ‘resources’. Some Independent efforts will be exposed as half-baked, or unserious, or basically shams operated by pick-pockets who see a chance to take some parents for a bundle of cash. Those con-artists won’t last long  – and they will provide further proof that there are different attitudes and abilities in education – NO KIDDING – and,  Letting People Decide for Themselves Where to Send Their Children and Money Is the Obvious Way to Make Excellence Happen in Education.

It is an unpleasant Fact of History that We the homo SAPIENS somehow cannot catch on to the straight forward notion that putting our attainment of knowledge and mental competence in the Place of Honer in all our lives will reward us with Mastery of our world, Wisdom in our communities, and the blatant realization that Personal Excellence is the standard for all of our behavior. Every person on this planet has a Rolls Royce brain between their ears – and too many of us haplessly use that Rolls Royce as a skateboard. It is discouraging to read through our histories and consider that probably ninety percent of all the trouble people have ever had could have been easily avoided if we would just practice – Conservative Principle # 8  Respect for Knowledge. The people of this world have no excuse for just going along with the endless drag of difficulties that we all know how to correct.

Here in 2025, with Trump bulldozing around in D.C. we Conservatives CANNOT let this chance to help Our Country to a Better way of schooling our children for a Better future slip past us. America is not performing at maximum level, or optimum level, but somewhere under a .500 batting average – which is called asking for trouble. A national public school system that keeps piling up losses will not lead us to any  ‘promised land’ of commercial success, cultural sophistication and social harmony. It may lead us – is leading us  – to blighted lives, infernal governments, colossal debt insolvency and a ‘judgement of history’ reckoning that we can read about from previous national flops. I stare in amazement at the condition of Our Country and the people who are awake and sentient, and think to myself – surely they must see the troubling features of our present situation and surely they must KNOW that most of our troubles are completely unnecessary, and that we can effectively and immediately rid ourselves of those problems if we just practice obvious sane, intelligent – CONSERVATIVE principles, behavior and determination.

‘We can’t go on like this’ is an old phrase that gets used in difficult times and situations but that simple truth has a dreadful ring to it – now in 2025  OUR TIME IN HISTORY – when we know what the correct answers are to advancing ourselves on a Good, Better, Best highway to a future of Great Goodness. That future includes a Landscape of Independent schooling as a normal fact of life for everyone.   EAP
