About 25 years ago, after changing my registration from Republican to Conservative in New York State (thank you Denny Hastert) I got a Bright Idea – start a new political party for people who want Our Country, and the governments we elect, to be dedicated to GOODNESS in mind and in heart and to be guided by Conservative Principles to achieve sanity and happiness, prosperity and success. I am 74 years old now and I am thinking maybe I have wasted too much time yelling at computer screens and getting furious about deceitful, worthless people who volunteer to infest and infect our nation’s politics and government.
Currently we are enduring two worn-out political parties – the viper gang and the bunny rabbit party. They keep busy trying to drive Our Country on a detour to disaster, cashing in all the way, while too many people just go along for the ride in splendid ignorance. The old gangs suppose they can count on millions of people in this country to sit by and do nothing about clearing the rot out of government so they swagger on with impunity. But people are waking up slowly, responding to more and more bizarre shocks that the propaganda media find increasingly difficult to hide.
There is a future of Great Goodness ahead for Our Country and a wide-open road to get there if enough intelligent, honorable citizens care to get off the couch and head up that road. With millions of people trying to get along in life things can get complicated for sure. People with good intentions, good plans and good effort can build up good lives, good communities and a Good nation. People with vile and vicious intentions can lie, cheat and lawfare, throw rocks, set fires and wreck a Good nation. We have been dragged into a dangerous predicament by the viper gang who intend to destroy America, while the bunny rabbit party has spent decades huffing and puffing and letting the vipers get away with whatever they want.
If Our Country is dragged down to Nothing it will be quite a spectacle to watch ALL those people who never-minded, pooh-poohed and waved away the blaring, shrill signs of national failure and catastrophe, as they screech and groan for someone to – Get us out of this mess! Well, there is no other U.S.A. that can rescue the Original – either we decide to find the Correct way to set Our Country on the right path, or we give up. If America the Beautiful goes down it will be ugly and brutal for everyone, except the Ratmob creeps who already have their one-way tickets out of this country to the Aegean, or Thailand or Rio. The good and honorable Americans will be left to deal with the nightmare. In the meantime we must deal with our American – Problem. Is America a nation of blithering, smart ass/dumb ass showboats frittering away their lives on entertainment easy street, or is America a nation ruled by GOODNESS, destined for astonishing accomplishment, and righteous citizenship, and a triumph of Personal Excellence? We will receive the consequence of our choice.
Excellent America Party will be built on a foundation of Goodness, Personal Excellence and Citizen Responsibility. Politics and government are easy to succeed at – all you need are honorable people. So …..

Let the howling begin.
We have two main political parties that allow anything that crawls in through the basement window, or down the chimney, into their political fiasco clubs. How long must we endure their flailing crap shows? Honestly, it amazes me that citizens do not come busting out their front doors and start shouting and stomping in the streets every other day. I wonder about the people in this country, whether they are worth bothering with or not. But I think America is worth a try. It can still be the Great Big High Wide and Handsome Country that we all thought it was so many years ago.
Conservatives have a self-inflicted problem on their hands – decades of sitting by and watching while a parade of hate America vermin infested, slandered and damaged Our Country nearly to the point of complete breakdown. The confounded mess we now live in never had to happen in the first place if Conservatives had stepped forward, stood up to their Citizen Responsibility and delivered the truth about a Good and Great country to voters who apparently don’t quite get it. We need to construct and activate a Party of people who know the Truth, the Reality of Conservative Principles that, when practiced, will lead Our Country UP to a place of prosperity, accomplishment, happiness and power – the power of GOODNESS and Decency for all the world to see and respect.
Some preliminary notes for party structure and operation.
The Party will be organized with a non-centralized structure. Meetings will be carried online. Local, county, state and regional levels will be the foundation blocks for the Party. Local units – neighborhood groups – will be the primary functional units.
All meetings will be open to ALL members wherever they are in the country. Local units will control their own meetings and observers can watch but not interfere. ‘Transparency’ will be a fact, not a slogan.
NO meetings will happen outside of online, scheduled events. We must fight against those people who see an organization as a target to be infiltrated and corrupted for their own schemes.
Term limits for ALL positions. We don’t need to have good old Joe Schmoe as a local leader for 57 years – what a guy, he is like a piece of furniture around here. Conservative Truth – Government works best when many Good People contribute. Individuals may repeat in a position but only after a set length of time out of office.
Particular issue ‘gangs’ will be arranged nationwide for those interested especially in – education, medicine, agriculture, business, religion, military, small business, abortion etc.
And one more interesting point – while a Party cannot operate as a commercial business we will try to make EAP as business-like as possible. We will not be playing ‘non-profit’ politics with the Party finances as the other political parties do. If Conservatives think business – small or large – is important in America then we can put our finances where our mouth is. The Party will make a ‘profit’ by bringing SANITY to our American economy – businesses and customers – and the ‘helpers’ in government, who will be put on a short leash.
Major questions must be addressed:
First Important Question – M O N E Y . Money to fund Party operations, money to fund candidates for elective office, money in local, state and federal budgets. The essential, necessary mission is to consider how EFFECTIVELY our money is spent. Our intention should always stress exact accounting and how much we get for what we spend. The FACT of Money will always be there. It has been one of the main sources of trouble for people all around this planet forever. People have a bad habit of letting MONEY jerk them around and entice them to very bad decisions. Excellent America Party must have a plan to master money if we want to create an effective organization for Goodness.
MEMBERSHIP – What will be the character assessment procedure for new members? That will be a point of ‘ignition’ for lots of people. Who decides what is acceptable and necessary and what is not? That is not easy to state plainly, BUT that must be our standard practice to build an effective organization of ‘like-minded’ citizens. The character traits and mental capacity we are talking about may seem obvious but looking at the two current political parties it is VERY apparent that such traits are NOT so obvious or requisite. Further, there is an interplay between character traits and real world facts as they happen which complicates the procedure. Different types of people perform better in various kinds of situations. There is no etched-in-glass guideline.
We intend to bring in people who are HONEST – those who KNOW honesty, appreciate the plain benefits of honesty and have considered for themselves a determination to practice honesty. Conservative Principle – if you can’t be Honest you are just wasting your time on this planet. Deceit, connivance, chicanery are types of stupidity.
We intend to bring in people who are intelligent. Conservative Principle – All people have vast, overwhelming capacity to learn, understand, examine, consider, invent and create. Those people who have little interest in intelligence can look elsewhere for political action, we have no time to waste with them.
We intend to bring in people who are not afraid of WORK. People who are able to contribute – to their own Personal Excellence and to home, family, community and country.
We intend to bring in people of Decency, modesty, forbearance and self-respect. We honor and revere the genealogy of our ancestors who struggled and fought their way through centuries of impossible hardships – and kept Goodness before them to prepare, for us, this time and place where we must choose between inferior dissipation and treachery – or superior Excellence.
Our Excellent gathering place has boundaries, which keep unacceptable creatures out, but make plenty of room for a happy variety of Good people who value and appreciate GOODNESS in mind and heart. We do not subscribe to the pet-and-pule notion of smirky-face friendliness for anything that gets around on two legs. Self-respect means the discipline of Personal Excellence – not just a nice slogan.
In the real world of ups and downs, hew and draw, push and shove, dollars and sense lots of human interactions, situations and complications can happen. Maintaining our principled character and applying ourselves to whatever comes at us gives opportunities to succeed at being Champions of Goodness. That is our challenge – and we accept it. We intend victory, each and every day in each and every way. We are not here to ‘get away with’ being 10th rate, or calling that 3rd rate – to make it okay.
There are many ‘types’ of characters out there – the loud ones and the quiet ones, the hyperactive ones and the cautious ones, the intense committed ones and the easy confident ones. Our mission is to establish clear guidelines for character assessment with continual checks and upgrades. As time goes by the regular nature of the organization and membership will become well known. But always, we must be on guard for those who will try to slither in and make trouble. They are out there – they live to destroy Goodness wherever they find it.
For now I will be reading responses and reactions to what I have done so far and taking suggestions for establishing an online ‘round up’ of people interested in making Excellent America happen from sea to shining sea.
Welcome to Excellent America. I have set up this website to focus attention on our original ‘Problem’ that handicaps and warps We the People in our ongoing effort to build a Good and Great nation. I also will give what I consider to be the Correct Answer for the Problem which is necessary to solve our two main political problems – 1 a political party of vipers who intend to ruin and wreck Our Country and, 2 a political party of bunny rabbits who are selfishly obsessed with the money racket in federal, state and local governments. From the beginning of America when colonists came here from Great Britain (not for liberty or freedom, but to make something GOOD happen) the Problem has festered contributing to the steady deterioration and misdirection of our Conservative society and nation. As we have proceeded from the first settlements at Jamestown and Plymouth to the (completely misguided) War of Independence and on through two centuries of nation building Our Country has been damaged increasingly by the Problem until we are at a Break Point where Our Country will experience a breakdown with potentially catastrophic events.
Recent decades, especially the last 20 years, have brought forth the desperate, sometimes unhinged attempts of the vipers to ‘Go for the Kill’, just blatantly attack, disrupt and destroy freely elected representative government and replace it with a Bottomless Hole of totalitarian failure. While they are busy with that we also must bear the feckless, worthless incompetence of the go along to get along, pay to play Republicrats – those Republicans who are Rat wannabes, and also most discouraging the lackadaisical, vapid attitude of too many people in this country who WILL NOT grow up and stand up to their responsibility to vote for honest, serious legislators, executives and judges who will work to guide Our Country on an Upward path of Goodness and prosperity – and sanity. My particular target is – each and every Sapiens citizen, their understanding, attitudes, intentions, aspirations and their startling lack of citizen involvement in government of the Good people, by the Good people, for the Good people.
In the Principles column you will find MY list of Conservative Principles (which might be a bit different from YOUR list of Conservative Principles) which I think are absolutely essential building blocks for the realization of a society made for Good people. Situation Commentary is intended to be an ongoing review of whatever events are popping up in D.C. or around the country. I have included an email address for readers to send in comments, some of which I may post with or without your contact information as you wish.
Conservative history will be an ongoing work in progress for bringing out the knowledge we can gain from past history to guide us and also remind us that many of our end-of-the-world crises that are shoved at us by pestering media have been seen before on this planet.
At the far side of the home page you will see the Excellent America Party section which is being prepared to start a new political party! – just what we need. I don’t know about you but I have had ENOUGH of the vipers and the bunny rabbits and I am ready for a political party for sane, just hitch up your britches and get things done people. Right now I am doing this by myself and I am the only member of that Excellent America Party.
I have had a Flag made to get across a point about what Our Country is all about. I call it New Glory. Note – this is conservative scotch straight from the bottle.
More Trouble Than You Can Shake A Stick At
Over the past FORTY years I have been watching the American political bleep show and have gradually gained an understanding of and appreciation for the source of our government problems. The source is us. Our Problem is not that there are things – events ( local or national) , financial, political, legal, religious, or actors in America or foreign countries that make trouble for us. News bits bounce off us from every direction every day and we get used to rolling with the punches. A lot of us develop a bad habit of – flailing. Flailing at today’s news stories. Flailing at people we dislike in the news. Flailing at bad economic news. Flailing at the latest bizarre behavior from Judge Younameit. I have come to realize that it is important for people to see that this habit of flailing is mostly useless and prevents us from dealing with everything that goes on in an effective manner.
People need to learn that we all have to work at our sit down, be quiet and pay attention skills. When you do that you work along at getting your thoughts organized and eventually arrive at the point where you admit that what you really want is for Good to happen, for things to go Right. This personal trait of Goodness and Excellence is always present for Conservatives but crowded out by – flailing at everything that flies by every day. Our troubled lives would be happier and less stressful if we approached each day’s whirl with a command and control knowledge of how we intend to make Goodness happen in the place we occupy.
In other parts of the website I will be taking up specific section topics and applying Conservative Principles to action plans for steering those topics to become part of a place of Goodness. In this section I will be dealing with events or people that are flying by in the breaking! news and give them the Conservative treatment. I also want to direct your attention to other commentary from Conservatives around the country by bringing various articles to this website when I think they will assist me in getting at a Conservative understanding of what is going on in America so that we Conservatives can build a nation of Goodness and Decency, Understanding and Accomplishment.
