Where does the money come from to pay for health care in Our Country, and into whose pockets does that money go?

#1.  There is no simple, easy answer to paying for health care in a nation of 300+ million people.

#2   At this time in our history America is a prosperous society with a history of success and increasing comfort – like living on Easy Street. One thing people on Easy Street expect is to get gold-plated health care – that ‘somebody else’ is going to pay for.

#3.   Money is a fact of life, for everyone all the time. Everyone needs it and everyone wants it. We all participate in the – take care of # 1 – commercial reality of a high power economy, while our ‘helpers’ in D.C. connive at wrecking that economy with ‘Health Care’ as one of their favorite excuses for inflicting bureaucracy on us.

#4.  The siren song of prosperity has lured us into expecting to have more money, and more more money, and more more – more more money …. fall out of the sky?

 

All of the people involved in health care get ensnared in the more more – money chicane because SOME people look at Health Care and see – DOLLAR signs, LOTS of DOLLAR signs. They volunteer to help out with the cash flow – for personal reasons. People involved directly with patient care – medical doctors, nurses, all kind of specialists -who devote their lives to helping patients are drawn into the money vortex and are mostly helpless to stop the more-more. They are, in fact, advised to get in on the racket.

The financial situation in Our Country has been confounded by by the halfwit Congressional and bureaucratic sharpos who are running the money printing racket in D.C. and by the Federal Reserve gang who have played along with the evaporation of the Dollar and by the criminals who contrived the covid plandemic and the illegal alien Invasion. We are finally getting away from the days of covid although the covid fetishists hang on for their daily insanity injection. The people who lost their lives, jobs, homes and businesses are just social road kill in this country. But the D.C. confetti money crowd are determined to cripple our American economy  – forever. We are watching our new Real President begin the process of putting his America First promises into action which will bring Sanity and Productivity to commerce and have positive effects on EVERYONE financially as well as our health care system. We the patient-people need some critical  mass of people in government – federal, state and local – to BRING SANITY to the health care fiasco that we now enjoy/endure. We do not need a federal government driving Our Country off a fiscal/financial cliff while we are trying to get Health Care reorganized in an efficient, effective way. The Senators and Representatives who stroll around the Capitol Building being important need to drop the candy store government routine that is S.O.P. and focus their attention on Making Commerce Great Again in America. Seriously we need the D.C. mob to just cut the crap and put in the time and effort necessary to allow SUCCESS in business for owners, employees and customers – everybody in this country. This is an absolute necessity if we imagine we are going to correct the Health Care mess that has been foisted on us. Some suggestions for solving the problem:

Part A of the solution to our Health Care predicament. The Republican controlled Congress should OBLITERATE the Inflation Reduction Act – IMMEDIATELY, the first week they get back to business in January. No delays, no excuses, JUST KILL IT.

Part B of the solution. Next, the Republican controlled Congress should get rid of the Affordable Care Act Crapshow. No delays, no excuses, JUST KILL IT.

The ever-worsening, totally unnecessary price tags for medical care are just one consequence of the D.C. money printing criminal scam. While the entire nation is deliberately steered down a detour to economic disaster the people who try every day to make medicine work Best for all of their patients are dragged into the commercial health care money maze from which they can’t escape.

Part C of the solution. Not so easy. The citizen voters in Our Country need to come to an agreement that WE WILL ALL tell each and every one of our Representatives and Senators that the MOST IMPORTANT gift they can bring back to us from D.C. is a Federal Budget that DOES NOT SPEND MONEY THAT WE DON’T HAVE, a Federal Budget that DOES NOT BORROW MONEY to pay for whatever tricks and treats we never knew we needed. We all need to knock it into their heads that they are NOT doing us any favors when they get federal funds for this, that or the next thing when it requires deficit spending. It is not good for our health! The whole sorry D.C. racket is a darn nuisance that will STOP when we the citizen voters STOP being okay with MY Representative and MY Senator playing along with the disgraceful, witless con game. One of the main foundation blocks for Health Care well done is a solid, strong DOLLAR that teaches and encourages EVERYBODY to participate in a Real economy with Real money that provides steady support for honest businesses that do not need D.C. confetti money to succeed. The entire Health Care situation will benefit in myriad ways.

Part D of the solution. Deal with the pre-existing conditions problem. Perhaps we can set up a system like the assigned risk pool for auto insurance. Get the people with pre-existing situations into a select category to be dealt with separately from ‘normal’ people. Then we can bill the normal patients in a SANE way. Their bills should come back to reality, while we decide how WE are going to pay for the pre-existing condition people.

Health care in Our Country is a lot like an extortion racket. It should not be that way. People who have life-long health problems are all in a situation where they must rely on the mercy of others to manage real suffering. There are SOME others who see that as an opportunity to bleed patients’ bank accounts dry – and tough luck for the patients.

Our Health Care Problem is: How are those who are entirely ready, willing and able to take a sane, effective, practical approach to Health Care going to put a LEASH on the people who infiltrate our national health care ‘system’ and work every day to to fix that system to funnel money into their BIG bank accounts? First we have to get clear about some facts of health care reality. Admit that most people are mostly healthy most of the time. They don’t need pills, treatments, or procedures with dubious benefits, and maybe some crazy side effects. We should not have to endure an endless Crisis in Health Care – there is no need for such an embarrassing, impoverishing monstrosity that is crippling our nation.

Some people do have serious health problems – congenital, chronic, permanent injury/disability. They are a small fraction of the total population. It is entirely possible to direct a focused, effective treatment methodology for them. Further, through all this the #1 health problem we must deal with is – too much to eat! We need to tell people who are overweight that they are a PROBLEM for Our Country and they need to come up with an answer to their food obsession. Our # 2 problem is – old age. Our amazing achievements in medicine are keeping people around for longer lives which increases the amount of care, and MONEY, we direct to seniors. It is a ‘problem’ that has no easy solution.

With the variety of anatomical situations and personalities that We the People have, and the variety of health problems we might acquire unscrupulous characters can move into the health care arena and use We the Patients as easy marks to separate us from our money. It looks a lot like robbery in broad daylight. One necessary solution for collaring bad actors in health care is ACCURATE INFORMATION AVAILABLE FOR EVERYBODY.

In America, in 2025, we are whistling past the grave yard as we wait for ‘somebody to DO something ‘  with the health care ‘issue’. For now I can say one thing that I think is True – the more each and every one us puts in time and effort to become thoroughly informed about all the moving parts of our UNIQUE health care reality the sooner we will steer ourselves to a first rate, SANE solution.
