Is it possible to wrangle the incessant news noise about a nation beset with bickering about well-worn social-political problems and find a vantage point from which to get a clear understanding about the Truth contest going on in Our Country? With daily reporting about every jab and punch, every wild swing and low blow how do we tell who is up and who is down? How about.

Two kinds of people – who are not going to co-exist on this planet. That’s just how it is.

Our troubles all trace back to one source – the grating, grinding clash between two kinds of people who are existentially not compatible.

One group the Ups, that would be We the Conservatives, are DNA constituted for Goodness, decency, responsibility, intelligence, righteousness, generosity, forbearance, productivity, and accomplishment. We like living in a Reality that is Ruled by Goodness.

The Other group, the Downs – ‘liberals’, ‘progressives’, ‘socialists’, ‘liberators’ – sure whatever they call themselves – are constituted for Nothing, aka totalitarian annihilation. They cannot raise themselves up to the self-respect that Goodness and Decency make possible. They decide for themselves to get by with deceit, mendacity, connivance, ignorance, incompetence, animosity, viciousness and – mass murder.

All people come in a range of character traits and that makes for a confounded situation for Conservatives who are trying to advance Goodness every day. We are beleaguered by the hyperactive hate America campaign the Downs aim at Our Country while they pose as ordinary folks in public and work overtime behind closed doors to inflict all kinds of damage on our families, children, schools, churches, communities, legislatures, courts, news media, and entertainment. The Downs can put on an act of normalcy and yelp about blemishes in some Conservatives but – Reality Always Wins – and the honest numbers truth about our social problems is brought out by Conservative heroes who do the hard work of uncovering socialist viper schemes.

But we are in a bad place because mild-mannered Conservatives have a BAD HABIT of just letting things go and not getting all bent out of shape about this or that bizarre social phenomenon – until that phenomenon goes to the extreme and results in disaster. We are assailed relentlessly by bad news about problems that could be prevented easily with a targeted effort but are allowed to grow into ugly spectacles. One wrong step leads to another – and the Downs are always impatient to get to the BOTTOM of things – the ZERO PLACE.

We cannot go on like this. There is no NEED for it. We can do better with a steady application of sanity and personal excellence. People (especially independents) get confused and disturbed about failure events coming at us from all directions. But our plain correct answer about which way society should go is easy – UP. One right step leads to another and, Good Better Best is our American way. In UP America Conservatives must say plainly that advancing Goodness defeats villainy and inferiority; that respect for knowledge defeats mental incompetence and political propaganda; that Personal Excellence defeats individual failure and mob thuggery; that Christian virtues defeat vicious brutalism. It is the difference between day and night for Our Country.  We Conservatives might help ourselves by saying it out loud every day and working to make it our national reality.
