What Can a Hapless Congress Do?
The Federal legislature – Congress, Representatives and Senators, is the premier, main, most important part of our federal government. [forget that co-equal branches, checks and balances nonsense] Congress has One Necessary Mission – to provide Our Country, all of the citizens, with a SOLID DOLLAR, a steady reliable value currency both for domestic commerce and for international business. That is the First Responsibility for our Representatives and Senators – WHO ASKED FOR THE JOB, ran for election to acquire the authority to write laws and direct their enforcement and correct judicial misinterpretations.
We the tax paying People need to tell our elected Federal legislators to STOP printing money, STOP deficit spending, STOP omnibus budget bill fiascos, STOP the national debt default soap operas, STOP building a national debt that enslaves us with an ever-increasing debt interest payment monstrosity. What the hapless Congress might do is establish regular, sane, profitable business, commercial and economic policies and practices that give customers and businesses as well as state and local governments the simple ability to plan for success.
The D.C. cash grab club just need to put a STOP to Candy Store government and vote buying ‘government money’ give away games. They need to understand that the BEST gift they can bring back to their constituents is a Federal Budget that does not spend more than we can afford, a Budget that provides all of us with a SOLID DOLLAR on which we can build solid, long term prosperity and rid ourselves of their shabby D.C. crash-and-burn economy vaudeville show. It is old, it is lame, it is a destructive criminal nuisance. We need to TEMPT the legislators WE elected with a dazzling prospect – run your re-election campaigns on that SOLID DOLLAR, steady commercial growth, success and common sense for businesses and consumers, everybody gets to enjoy prosperity platform.
In the meantime, ain’t we got fun. In this part of the website I will bring forward the ‘lowlights’ of the relentless bad comedy show we call an economy. Maybe I can contribute to encouraging people to snap out of it and stop shuffling along with the gyrations that those ‘in the know’ put us through. I will be promoting all – Solid dollar, steady growth, sane policies. Sounds crazy, right?
